With Born A Lion (out Tuesday), they've perfected their grinding groove hybrid that's raunchy yet taut. The Make-Up also tried to sexy up hardcore before they got tangled up in their own preachy polemic, but Danko Jones might actually succeed where they failed. Who knows? Given the right label push and their relationships-be-damned willingness to tour non-stop, anything's possible for these knuckleheads.
